The Rewa Football Association’s senior vice-president Peter Cecil Singh is contesting for the Fiji Football Association’s vice-president South position in the upcoming elections.

The elections will be at Friday’s Fiji FA Congress in Suva.

“Peter is no stranger to the beautiful game,” stated Rewa FA yesterday in a press release.

“With over 12 years of dedicated service as vice-president of Rewa Football, he has held various key portfolios from finance to youth development and coaching to grassroots football.”

The released indicated that as a successful businessman, Singh’s unmatched passion for football has seen him drive many of Rewa FA’s achievements, both domestically and to Oceania Football as well.

“His fingerprints are on every aspect of the growth of the Red Kajikaji programmes, youth football, administration and elite programme. Football needs a leader like Peter Cecil.

“We at Rewa FA supports his candidacy and wish him the very best in the elections. Let football be the real winner, with a visionary like Peter Cecil Singh at the helm,” stated Rewa FA.

Meanwhile, Ajay Trading Rewa coach Rodicks Singh has named a strong 22-member team for this weekend’s BiC Fiji FACT tournament.

The Delta Tigers shifted their training at the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour, Deuba.
